Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Critically ill patients in ICU
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with previous history of hearing loss and using hearing aids 2. History of congenital deafness or hearing loss associated with any congenital syndrome 3. History of any surgery to the ear or any trauma involving the ear canal 4. Those who receive mechanical ventilation for less than one week 5. Ear pathology like chronic otitis media, tympanic membrane perforation or effusion at ICU admission diagnosed through otoscopy 6. Pregnant patients 7. Any survivor unable to cooperate and consent for audiometric screening at the time of ICU discharge
