Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing Elective surgical procedure requiring tracheal intubation, ASA physical status I–III, Patient providing written consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with Known airway abnormalities, patients with limited mouth opening, Facial deformities or prior head and neck surgeries, Edentulous patients, Pregnant patients, Unwilling Patients

| The outcome of this study is to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of the Sternomental Distance Ratio (SMDR) in predicting difficult intubation. This will be assessed by calculating the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV) of SMDR compared to the Modified Cormack-Lehane (MCL) grading system. The study aims to determine an optimal cutoff value for SMDR that maximizes predictive performance.
