Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To study the correlation between the degree of stromal fibrosis and ovarian reserve markers (AMH, FSH, AFC, stomal blood flow and ovarian volume) in perimenopausal women undergoing oophorectomy. Timepoint: within one week of planned surgery.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate whether the degree of stromal fibrosis is associated with clinical characteristics (age, menstrual history) & surgical outcomes (complications, recovery time).Timepoint: Immediately post surgery
