Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed to have suppurative otitis media. 2. Patients of all age groups and both gender 3. Patients willing to give informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with chronic otitis media squamosal type. 2. Patients diagnosed with disease of external auditory canal 3. Patients with chronic systematic illnesses include chronic liver disease, chronic kidney disease affecting zinc metabolism 4. Patients allergic to zinc
