Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children between the ages 3 to 12 years of either gender for surgery under general anaesthesia with LMA ASA category 1 and 2 Duration of surgery less than 2 hours Adequate nil per oral duration

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: High risk of regurgitation Anticipated difficult airway Weight more than 50 kilograms Contraindication to insertion of LMA Known allergies to drugs used in study
