Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients age between 35 to 55 years of age. 2. Patients of either gender. 3. Patients having near vision less than N6 with best corrected distant vision. 4. Patients with clinical symptoms of Dwitiya Patalgata Timira (Presbyopia) like Vivhal darshan (blurred vision), eye strain, headache, Suchipasham Na pashyati (difficulty in threading a needle), Sukshma cha nekshate (difficulty in seeing near objects).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Presbyopic patients associated with corneal degenerations, corneal ulcers, Optic disc atrophy, Glaucoma, Posterior segment disorders such as Age-Related Macular Degeneration, Non-Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy. 2.Presbyopic patients with cataract. 3.Psychiatric disorders. 4.Metabolic disorders like uncontrolled DM and HTN.

To study the effect of Krushnadya Taila Nasya and spectacle correction in symptoms of Dwitiya Patalgata Timira (Presbyopia) like Suchipasham Na Pashyati, Sukshma cha nekshate.Timepoint: Follow up for visual assessment on 0th day, 7th day, 14th day, 21st day, 30th day and spectacular correction on 45th day

1.To study the changes in near point of accommodation with RAF (Royal Air Force) rule. 2.To study the changes in the axial length of eyeball with A Scan (Amplitude scan). 3.To compare the effect of Krushnadya Taila Nasya and spectacle correction with control group having Spectacle correction only.Timepoint: Follow up for visual assessment on 0th day, 7th day, 14th day, 21st day, 30th day and spectacular correction on 45th day
