Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Age: 20-60 years (2) Low back pain with unilateral lower limb radicular pain of more than 6 weeks which is not responding to conservative treatment. (3) Posterolateral lumbar disc herniation of L4/L5 or L5/S1 segment diagnosed by MRI and consistent with the clinical symptoms and signs (4) Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score for lower backache more than 4 out of 10.
