Inclusion criteria: ASA grade II term parturient Singleton pregnancy scheduled for elective lower segment cesarean section under spinal anaesthesia.

To compare the ease of successful spinal needle placement in first attemptTimepoint: to note intra operative vitals at 0,5,10,15,30,45,60 minutes

To assess the ease of palpation of the bony landmarks To assess the number of needle bone contact To assess the comfort of the patientsTimepoint: Total time taken for the spinal puncture-defined as the time from the starting point of skin puncture with the spinal needle to the free flow of cerebrospinal fluid.
