Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Either gender above 18years 2.Patient willing to give informed consent 3.Stage I, II and III of OSMF as per Chandramani More et al Classification of OSMF (2011)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Histopathologically demonstrated malignant disease 2.Patients undergoing radiotherapy 3.History of systemic diseases such as thyroid disorders, epilepsy, retinopathies or coagulation disorders 4.Pregnant and lactating women 5.Causes for limited mouth opening such as TMJ disorders, pericoronitis or trauma 6.Causes for burning sensation in mouth such as anaemia, candidal infections, xerostoma, allergies or nutritional deficiencies 7.Causes for limited cheek flexibility such as connective tissue disorders, scleroderma or post-surgical scarring 8.Causes for limited tongue protrusion such as ankyloglossia, neurological conditions or cancer of tongue 9.OSMF patients receiving other treatment modalities other than habit cessation
