Inclusion criteria: Adults 18 years or older Diagnosed with head and neck cancer Requiring major surgery Able to provide informed consent

30-day major complications requiring significant intervention 30-day deaths from any cause Timepoint: 30 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
5-year overall survival (main long-term goal) Hospital length of stay Specific complications: pneumonia, wound problems, blood clots Disease recurrence Quality of life measures Functional status over time Timepoint: 3 months, 6 months, every 6 motnhs till 5 years
