Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. More than 18 years of age b. Giving informed consent and willingness to participate c. Using tobacco in smoke or smokeless form (ST/SLT) d. Having a confirmatory diagnosis of T2DM and receiving routine medical treatment for the condition.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Having any severe/debilitating systemic co-morbidity b. Receiving any treatment for tobacco cessation within last six months c. Not being able to attend all treatment session.

Tobacco Abstinence among Type 2 Diabetic Tobacco UsersTimepoint: At Baseline and after the second and third months of follow-up

MeasureTime frame
• Improvement in OHRQoL in tobacco users with T2DM following the VRH assisted comprehensive health program. • Improvement in glycemic control in tobacco users with T2DM as measured by fasting and postprandial blood glucose level. Timepoint: Baseline and 6th Month
