Inclusion criteria: Individuals belonging to the age group of 30-50years 2) Individuals suffering from gingivitis and periodontal diseases. 3) Individuals who were willing to participate in the present study and gave their written consent for the same

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Individuals suffering from any major systemic diseases 2) Individuals wearing fixed or removable orthodontic appliances or prosthesis 3) Individuals who underwent any surgical periodontal therapy in the last 6 months
