Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: subjects belonging to the age group 18 to 60 years subjects fit for udvartana subjects fit for Virechana karma subjects of either gender presenting with clinical features of sthoulya subjects of either gender presenting with clinical features of obesity BMI from 25 to 39

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: any systemic diseases that interfere with the course of treatment pregnant and lactating women

To see the amount of weight reduction by measuring the skin fold thickness girth circumference and BMI and other parameters in two treatment modalities viz Udvartana Virechana followed by oral administration of Vrikshamla swarasa and Guduchi Bhadraadi kashaya in the management of sthoulya wsr to ObesityTimepoint: Before the commencement of intervention-1st day On the day of completion of Udvartana-after one week After completion of Virechana After completion of intervention-after 8 weeks
