Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Caregivers of older adults diagnosed with cancer Age of caregiver- 18 years and above Caregivers who have been involved in providing care Both primary and secondary caregivers (spouse, children) Ability to provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Caregivers of individuals with terminal cancer who have less than 3 months of caregiving experience. Non-family caregivers (e.g. hired professionals). Caregivers with severe cognitive or psychiatric disorders that hinder communication.

MeasureTime frame
A deeper understanding of the caregiving experience for older adults with cancer in IndiaTimepoint: Qualitative date will be collected through in-depth interviews during the study period. As this is an exploratory qualitative study, there ae no fixed time points such as baseline or follow up ;outcomes(themes and lived experiences) will be derived from the interview data collected once per participant.

An in-depth exploration of the psychological social emotional & spiritual issues along with practical challenges encountered by caregivers while supporting elderly patientsTimepoint: Qualitative data will be collected through in-depth interviews during the study period. As this is an qualitative exploratory study, there are no fixed time points such as baseline or follow up ; outcomes (themes & lived experiences ) will be derived from the interview data collected once per participant
