Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Acutely injury of less than 14 days

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (i) treatment with steroid drugs; (ii) rupture at the musculotendinous junction; (iii) rupture at the calcaneal insertion; (iv) open rupture; and (v) re-rupture.
