Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 01. Subjects having signs and symptoms of Bhagandar. 02. Length of Fistula Track Upto 5 cm. 03. Internal opening of fistulae below Dentate line. 04. Patients irrespective of gender, economic class, caste and religion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 01. K/C/O HIV & HBsAg. 02. Patients with Uncontrolled Diabetes and other Systemic disorders. 03. Pregnancy/ Lactating women. 04. Fistulae developing secondary to diseases like TB, Ulcerative colitis etc.

To study the efficacy of Guggulu Based Naktamal Ksharsutra changed once a week for 45 days in the management of Bhagandar W. S. R. to Fistula-in-Ano.Timepoint: Assessment on 0th, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 35th, 45th day

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1) To assess improvement by signs and gradation of assessment criteria. 2) To reduce discomfort and complaints of patients. 3) To understand probable mode of action of Ksharsutra. 4) To study the outcome in 45 days. 5) To study etiopathology of Bhagandar in detail according to ayurveda and Fistula-in-Ano in detail according to modern text.Timepoint: Assessment on 0th, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 35th, 45th day
