Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged more than 12 years with proved Diabetic Ketoacidosis will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnancy 2.Refusal of consent

To evaluate and compare the time required for Diabetic Ketoacidosis resolution in patients managed with variable rate insulin infusion and fixed rate insulin infusionTimepoint: primary outcome will be evaluated when DKA resolution occurs ,it occurs average 1 day

1.Incidence of hypoglycemia 2.total Insulin requirement(IU) for diabetic ketoacidosis resolution 3.total duration of hospital stay 4.in hospital mortalityTimepoint: secondary outcome will be evaluated when DKA resolution occurs , Average 1 day
