Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA Grade 1 and 2 patients Patients with mouth opening more than 2 finger breadth Patients consenting for study Patients with normal neck extension 45 to 90 degree Patients with BMI 18 to 25kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with difficult Airway Patients refusing consent Patients with cervical spine injury Post Radiotherapy for head and neck region ,Patients of oral or head and neck surgery requiring g oral intubation

To compare in two groups 1. Time for intubation [ Time from first entrance of endotracheal tube into oral cavity to the appearance of first etco2 curveTimepoint: 1 minute

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Usage of Airway accessories / additional maneuver ,like manipulation of blade , backward upward right ward pressure maneuver [ BURP] ,stylet, bougie, any assisted technologies , maneuver of endotracheal tube I.e manipulating to right & left 2.Incidence of impingement of tube on arytenoids / aryepiglottic fold 3. Hemodynamic stress response during laryngoscopy & intubation 4, Trauma [ bleeding ,injury] to Airway while intubatingTimepoint: 30 minutes
