Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults aged between 18 to 59 years irrespective of Gender Individuals diagnosed clinically with mild to severe facial Melasma assessed using Modified Melasma Area and Severity Index mMASI Participants with duration of Melasma for more than 3 months Participants willing to give written informed consent for participation and photographic documentation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Cases of Melasma on extra Facial sites Participants undergoing active Conventional treatment for Melasma Participants using any Topical applications including skin lightening products Participants with pigmentation due to other dermatological conditions Participants on Oral Contraceptive Pills or Hormonal therapy or with a history of use in the past 6 months Participants with unprotected sun exposure more than 2 hours per day Participants suffering from severe systemic disorders including uncontrolled hypothyroidism immunocompromised conditions autoimmune diseases Diagnosed cases of Psychiatric illness and cognitive impairment Pregnant and Lactating females Participants who have received any treatment for melasma within last 4 weeks thereby not fulfilling the required washout period prior to study enrolment
