Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II 2 Body mass index 18 to 30 kg/m? 3 Patients undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of allergy or hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics 2. Infection at the site of needle insertion 3. Pregnant or lactating females 4. Patients with history of narcotic or alcohol addiction 5. Coagulopathy 6. Psychiatric disorders
