Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Broad cavitated occlusal lesion with dentinal involvement (Black?s Class I cavity) Radiographic evidence of caries up to two-thirds of dentin thickness Carious dentin consistency: soft to medium hard Color: light yellow to brown
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Non?Class I lesions Extensive destruction / unrestorable teeth Radiographic involvement of more than two-thirds dentin or pulp involvement Lesions extending subgingivally Children with systemic, medical, or developmental conditions
