Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: i. Young Indian Adults aged 19?35 years. ii. Referred from non-cardiac departments or attending for routine annual ECG screening. iii. They might have minor non-cardiac conditions (e.g., mild infections, minor surgeries, dermatological issues), which are unrelated to cardiac health and therefore acceptable.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i. Individuals with a history or clinical evidence of any cardiac disease, including but not limited to: congenital heart disease, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, or conduction disorders. ii. Patients on ongoing medications known to affect cardiac conduction or ECG findings (e.g., antiarrhythmics, beta-blockers, etc.). iii. Presence of any active cardiac symptoms (e.g., chest pain, palpitations, dizziness, or breathlessness) or overt clinical signs suggestive of cardiac disease (e.g., cyanosis, pedal edema, irregular pulse, tachycardia, hypertension) at the time of enrollment.

Prevalence (with 95% confidence intervals) of each of the following ECG patterns (assessed at baseline, i.e., at the time of enrollment) among apparently healthy Young Indian Adults aged 19?35 years: i. Early Repolarization (ER) ii. Type 2 Brugada Pattern (Type 2 BrP) iii. Persistent Juvenile T-Wave Pattern (PJTWP)Timepoint: At baseline

Association of the presence of each ECG pattern with demographic variables (assessed once, i.e., at demographic data collection & baseline ECG recording): i. Age (analyzed in subgroups: e.g., 19?25, 26?30, 31?35 years) ii. Sex (male vs. female). Timepoint: At baseline;Comparison of prevalence rates with previously published global data (performed after completion of data collection, at the analysis stage) to explore potential ethnic or regional differences.Timepoint: At around 20 weeks
