Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients admitted with a diagnosis carcinoma esophagus & GEJ cancers planned for Thoraco Laparoscopic esophagectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients having iodine or ICG allergy 2.Patients needing emergency surgery 3.Pregnant and lactating females 4. GEJ tumors which are sieverts Type 3

To compare the total number of LNs retrieved in both groupsTimepoint: To compare the total number of LNs retrieved during the surgery in both groups will be assessed at the time of surgery and biopsy report of the specimen, at the time of discharge and after 4 weeks
