Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with HbA1c less than or equal to 9 per cent with or without complications based on clinical examination and the investigator s discretion. 2. Individuals with gastrointestinal complaints, viz., flatulence, epigastric or post-prandial fullness, bloating, nausea, and constipation occurring on and off over the period of 1 month or more. 3. Individuals willing to abide by the study-related procedures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals on insulin therapy. 2. Individuals with acute gastric symptoms like appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, etc. and chronic gastric symptoms of hyperacidity. 3. Individuals with a known history of usage of herbal medications/ nutritional supplements/ multivitamin supplements/ pre and probiotic supplementation within the past 30 days for any indication. 4. Individuals with a known history of endocrinological disorders, cardiac, liver or renal pathologies 5. Individuals with a known history of psychiatric/ psychological disorders 6. Pregnant or lactating females
