Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Adult participants of 18 to 60 years 2 Elective cases posted for surgery under general anaesthesia 3 Participants with American Society of Anaesthesiologist physical status I and II 4 Surgeries lasting less than 2 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Participants who do not consent 2 Pregnant participants 3 Participants who have any diagnosed psychiatric disorder or addictions 4 Participants receiving ketamine 5 Participants with a history of allergy to Midazolam or Dexmedetomidine
