Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Young adults aged 17-27, with no prior experience in performing squat as a physical exercise

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with a history of significant motor or neurological impairments. Participants who are unable to wear the EEG, EMG or motion tracking suits. Prior experience with squats or advanced physical training.

Improvement in physical movement performance of squats (kinematic analysis of physical movement execution) from pre-test to post-testTimepoint: 1. Pre-test: Before participants undergo Motor Imagery and Action Observation Training. 2. After intervention, to analyze the squat performance Pre-test, Training and Post-test are conducted on a single session. All the primary outcome time points are also obtained in a single session.

Changes in neurophysiological data (EEG) during Motor Imagery and Action Observation TrainingTimepoint: Across sessions: before training (pre), during the training and after training (post). Within each session: EEG is captured during each of the six blocks of the Action Observation and Motor Imagery Training sessions.
