Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Control group - Euthyroid men and women 18 to less than 60 years of age Test group - Diagnosed and untreated Hypothyroid adults aged 18 to less than 60 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Women in menstrual phase, pregnant and lactating women. 2.Patients with pacemaker or metallic implants. 3.Patients with previously established heart disease, Diabetes Mellitus and other endocrine disease. 4.Smokers and cancer patients. 5.Long term drug use. (e.g. Metformin and diuretics) 6.Adults with skeletal or muscular disorders. 7.Adults who are unable to stand straight. 8.Adults with large scar on body. 9.Those with known H/O orthostatic hypotension.
