Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pediatric patients belonging to ASA grade I/II , Age group of 6 months to 6 years undergoing infraumblical surgeries under GA.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient with history of allergy/pervious known complications to the local anesthesia drugs. 2. Patient with infection at the site of injection or presence of spinal or meningeal anomalies. 3. Patient with any sacral bony abnormalities identified clinically or via ultrasound. 4. Patient with known Bleeding diathesis or any coagulation disorder contraindicating regional anaesthesia

MeasureTime frame
1.First attempt success rate between out-of plane with in-plane USG guided technique for cuadal epidural blockTimepoint: Assessed immediately during block performance, within 0?5 minutes from skin puncture (i.e. by the end of the first needle attempt)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Block performance time: Time from ultrasound probe placement to completion of drug injection. 2. Incidence of dural puncture: Cases with cerebrospinal fluid aspiration during the block. 3. Incidence of vascular injury: Cases with blood aspiration during the block. 4. Incidence of swelling at the injection site: Subcutaneous swelling or extravasation observed after injection. 5. Intraoperative analgesic requirement: Need for additional analgesics during surgeryTimepoint: Block performance time assessed intraoperatively at block completion, incidence of dural puncture assessed during block performance, incidence of vascular injury assessed during block performance, incidence of swelling at the injection site assessed immediately after block injection, and intraoperative analgesic requirement assessed throughout the surgical procedure.
