Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants diagnosed with somatoform disorder or dissociative disorder based on standardized diagnostic criteria as per by DSM-5. 2. Adults aged 18 and above 3. Either sex (male or female) 4. Participants willing to provide informed consent to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with comorbid psychiatric disorder (as per M.I.N.I. International Neuropsychiatric Interview screen version 7.0) apart from anxiety and depressive disorders. 2. Participants with a history of severe neurological condition 3. Individuals currently undergoing psychotherapeutic interventions targeting emotional regulation to prevent confounding effects on study outcomes 4. Participants with history of substance abuse or dependence as substance use can influence emotional functioning. 5. Individuals with a history of severe medical condition for which active treatment is being undertaken.
