Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All genders. 2. Age group-20-50 years of age. 3. Patient diagnosed with Irritable bowel syndrome based on ROME criteria. 4. Patients with diverse expressions of Irritable bowel syndrome, including predominant (Irritable bowel syndrome-D), constipation-predominant (Irritable bowel syndrome-C), mixed-type (Irritable bowel syndrome-M).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with incomplete medical records or insufficient documentation of clinical presentation of Irritable bowel syndrome, relevant predisposing factors and incomplete life space data. 2. Patients with IBD which will be diagnosed on the basis of symptomatic presentation.
