Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Students of IAS&R (Age: 20 - 30 years) with no discrimination of sex, caste, religion and economic status. 2. Patients having pratyatma lakshana of Grahani Roga especially –Atisrushtam or Ativibadhham or Atidravam malapravritti (altered bowel habits), Trushna, Arochaaka, Vairasya, Praseka, Tama, Chhardi, Jwara, Louha-ama-gandhi tiktamlodgara. 3. Previously diagnosed case of IBS who fulfilling ROME IV CRITERIA. 4. Participants from whom the written consent is obtained
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute infection like Amoebic dysentery, acute diarrhoea, Mixed infection with parasites such as round worms, hook worms etc. and Infectious disorders like Intestinal tuberculosis etc. 2. Patients with evidence of malignancy & those with the endoscopic findings of peptic ulcer or any organic lesion and other systemic disorders. 3. Lactose intolerance patients. 4. Patients on prolonged medication with NSAIDs, analgesics, antibiotics or any other drugs that may have an influence on the outcome of the study. 5. Patients with any Anorectal disease. 6. Patients with alcohol dependency or drug dependency. 7. Pregnant women and lactating mothers.
