Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18 to 65 years. 2. Patients presenting after 12 hours of trauma or vascular injury to the leg (tibia shaft) or forearm. 3. Patients with clinical signs suggestive of acute compartment syndrome. 4. Confirmed intra-compartmental pressure greater than 30 mmHg.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with open wounds. 2. Patients with polytrauma. 3. Patients with chronic kidney disease. 4. Patients with pre-existing peripheral vascular disease, muscle disorders, or peripheral neuropathy. 5. Prior history of compartment syndrome or prior limb surgery. 6. Compromised collateral circulation.
