Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age between 18 - 60 years (Both Males and Females) ASA Grade 1 and 2 Undergoing Short Surgical Procedures (less than 60 mins)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal ASA grade 3 and 4 Posted for Emergency Surgeries Allergy to Propofol and dexmedetomidine CVS Disorders Liver or Renal Dysfunction

To compare the efficacy of dexmedetomidine and ketamine versus fentanyl and propofol for intraoperative analgesia and anaesthesia and to assess hemodynamic stabilityTimepoint: From 15 mins to 1 hour Intraoperatively

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare postoperative recovery profiles including emergence time,sedation,pain score & incidence of postoperative nausea & vomiting between dexmedetomidine & ketamine & fentanyl & propofol groupsTimepoint: From 15 mins to 6 hour postoperatively in PAICU
