Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age- 30-65 years Stroke confirmed on MEI/doctor/ referral prescription At least 3 months post stroke hemiparesis Having spasticity in the gastrocnemius muscle according to modified Ashworth scale that is less than and equal to grade 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pain in lower limb at rest. History of any medical condition that prevent participation act as a contraindication to sustained stretching extra as per study protocol. History of any known complication like DVT extra which may act as a contraindication for giving static stretching exercises.
