Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Community or hospital-based studies; All pregnant women in the first trimester Studies, providing prevalence of hypothyroidism (subclinical or overt or category non specified); Studies conducted in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh India; Diagnosis based on TSH level;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All pregnant women with pre-existing medical disorders such as Studies conducted in the special population groups like the diabetic mothers or mothers with pregnancy losses, etc. Studies which have not reported screening methods; Diagnosis other than TSH levels
