Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Large to massive cuff tears involving the supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendons (Cofield classification 3,4) with less than 3.5cm retraction 2. Less than grade 3 fatty atrophy according to Goutallier’s classification, 3. Less than Hamada Grade 3a rotator cuff arthropathy,
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Small and medium cuff tears (Cofield 1,2) 2. Irreparable Rotator cuff tears with severe retraction 3. Severe > Hamada Grade 3b rotator cuff arthropathy 4. More than Goutallier’s grade 3 fatty atrophy 5. Associated labral pathologies 6. Retears

| The clinical outcomes will be assessed in functional scores (Visual Analogue scale (VAS) scores, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons(ASES), Oxford Shoulder Score (OSS) and University of California at Los Angles Shoulder Score (ULCA), Constant Score (CS) , Shoulder ROM, MRI for cuff retraction length for all the groups.Timepoint: Patients will be followed up at 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 18 months, 24 months and yearly intervals then after. | — |
