Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All children aged up to 18 years presenting with esophageal foreign body to the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Time at presentation beyond 48 hours of ingestion of foreign body. Children with button battery, sharp foreign body, or radiolucent foreign body. Signs of esophageal perforation. Children with history of esophageal pathology or esophageal surgery.
