Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Hypertensive individuals aged above 40 years undergoing cardiac evaluation. 2. Diagnosis of atrial cardiomyopathy by ECG (any one of the 3 findings) P wave amplitude (more than 0.25mV) or P wave duration (more than 110ms) or P wave area more than or equal to 4 ms mV AND, OR by ECHO (any one of the four) LAVI more than 34ml/m2, or LAEF less than 35 percentage, or LA AP DIAMETER more than 47mm, or RAVI more than 25ml/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with any Structural Heart Disease 2. Patients with LV systolic dysfunction 3. Patients with Pacemaker implantation 4. Age more than 80 years
