Interventions

Intervention1: GROUP A- functional hip abductor training: The intervention consists of 6 sessions/week
implemented over a 4 week. Group A will receive functional hip abductor training exercises for 4 weeks, consisting of 3 sets of 15 repetitions, 15 s rest between sets, 6 times/week, for the followi
implemented over a 4 week. GROUP B will perform short foot exercise combined with hip abductor training exercises as group A. SHORT FOOT EXERCISES
1. DOMING
bring the first MTP joint close to the calcaneus, keeping the toes extended. 2. LESSER TOE EXTENSION
2-5 toes by pressing great toe to the ground. 3. TOE SPREAD
toe abduction. 4. HALLUX EXTENSION
great toe extension. 1st week - The patient is in a seated position with 90 of knee flexion.(11,6)
5 sec Contraction time x 12 repetitions 3 sets
Relax time: 2 sec between each set
1-2 min rest between each exercise. 2nd week - The Subject is in a seated position with 90 of knee flexion & loading the foot with hand while performing exercises.(11)
10 sec Contraction time x 12 repetitions 3 sets
Relax time: 5 sec between each set.1-2 min rest between each exercise. 3rd week - The subject is standing on both the leg while performing exercise. (11)
15 sec Contraction time x 12 repetitions 3 sets
Relax time: 7-8sec between each set.1-2 min rest between each exercise. 4th week - The subject is standing on Single leg while performing exercise. (11)

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Competitive sprinters who willing to participate in the study. Both male and female participants are included. Age group18 to 30 years. No diagnosed foot deformities Presence of dynamic knee valgus (greater than 10 degrees FPPA)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with any Lower limb surgery or fracture in the past 6 months. Acute musculoskeletal injury at the time of study. Neuromuscular or systemic disorders affecting gait. Use of orthotic insoles or foot taping during the study.
