Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Adults aged between 20 to 60 of any gender. 2 Patients with unilateral LMN facial nerve palsy without identifiable causes or Bells palsy with acute onset. 3 Participants who are not undergoing any physiotherapy sessions or alternative therapies for Bells palsy simultaneously. 4 Participants who are willing to participate and give informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Conditions affecting facial movement, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson s disease. 2 Patients diagnosed with recurrent or B/L facial palsy. 3 History of facial reconstructive surgery or severe trauma causing permanent nerve damage. 4 Skin conditions (e.g., open wounds, severe eczema) in the areas where electrodes are applied. 5 Any active infection around the ear. 6 Any sensory deficits on the face. 7 Conditions like dementia or severe learning disabilities that prevent participants from following instructions. 8 Participants enrolled in another intervention or treatment study for the same condition.

1.Myo plus EMG Device frontalis, zygomaticus and orbicularis oris. 2.Sunnybrook Facial Grading System (SFGS) voluntary movement, resting symmetry and severity of synkinesis. 3.Kinovea software [21,25] frontal angle, zygomatic angle, smile angle, both of paretic and non -paretic sides.
