Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: National-level track and field athletes Minimum 3 years of structured athletic training with strength and conditioning experience

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Athletes with any current or recent lower limb injury affecting performance. 2) Any history of cardiovascular, metabolic, or neuromuscular disorders. 3) Recent or ongoing use of anabolic steroids or performance-enhancing drugs. 4) Any major surgery in the past 12 months. 5) Athletes engaged in other eccentric-focused training programs during the study period
