Intervention1: propofol: total intravenous anaesthesia.
Propofol is routinely used to initiate general anesthesia. We have planned to maintain anesthesia with propofol infusion throuhout the surgery

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients coming for open right lobe donor hepatectomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: patient refusal patients with history of severe post-operative nausea and vomiting

| To compare the following parameters in the donors 1)Intraoperative hemodynamic parameters (number of episodes of hypotension, requirements of intermittent vasopressor boluses, if any) 2)Post-operative pain in the donor as measured by numerical rating scale 3)Post-operative morphine consumption (per day) until POD2 4)Incidence of Postoperative nausea & vomiting 5)Nasogastric tube aspiration quantity per day & requirement of prokinetic 6)Quality of recovery as measured by QoR 15 score Timepoint: Hourly in the intra-operative period & then daily for 7 days ;To compare the following in recipients 1)POD 1 to 7 bilirubin, transaminases, & prothrombin time (INR) 2)Incidence of graft dysfunction as per Olthoff s criteria Timepoint: Hourly in the intra-operative period & then daily for 7 days | — |
