Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For initial phase 1 Age: 45-65 years. 2 Healthy individuals for reliability and validity testing of the Apparatus. For later phases : 1 Patients with sub acute stroke diagnosed by Physician. 2 history of stroke not more then 6 months. 3 Age: 45-65 years. 4 Diagnosis of Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA) and Anterior Cerebral Artery (ACA) syndromes confirmed by radiological finding with a duration more than three months and less than six months from onset. 5 First ever unilateral hemispheric stroke. 6 Mini mental scale examination score >24. 7 Modified Ashworth Scale for lower limb muscles grade 8 Voluntary Control Grading for Lower-limb between Grade 3 and Grade 5. 9 Patient should be able to walk at least 20 feet independently. 10 Patient should be able to maintain 20 minutes of standing with or without assistance.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Any trauma or indirect injuries to the lower limbs or any surgical procedures done, which might affect the participation of patient in the present study. 2 Any sensory dysfunction affecting the balance and coordination.
