Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who have undergone surgery and are medically cleared by a physician to undergo phase II cardiac rehabilitation with the ability to read and write in either English, Hindi or Marathi

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with cognitive impairment affecting their ability to maintain a log diary. Patients suffering from neurological, cognitive, or musculoskeletal dysfunction, which limits their participation in the study.

To compare the effects of standard physiotherapy care alone versus standard physiotherapy care with the addition of a log diary on exercise adherence, functional capacity ( 6-Minute Walk Test), and patient satisfaction (self-made questionnaire) over 4 weeks in 30 to 70-year-old patients undergoing phase II cardiac rehabilitation.Timepoint: 4 weeks
