Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients who presenting in surgery emergency who are undergoing midline exploratory laparotomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who has Jaundice (Total bilirubin more than 3mg/dl) Patients who has Uncontrolled Diabetes mellitus Patients who are Diagnosed case of Collagen vascular disease Patients with Previous midline laparotomy Patients who are Pregnancy. Patients who are on Immunosuppressive therapy

Proportion of Fascial dehiscence within 30 days, defined as palpable or visible separation of fascial edges more than 2cmTimepoint: 30 Days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1) Proportion of surgical site infection as per Centers for Disease Control & Prevention criteria. 2) Patients comfort score as assessed by mean score of Carolina Comfort Scale at 30 days.Timepoint: 30 DAYS
