Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 & ASA 2 Patient undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA 3 & ASA 4 Patient refusal Pregnant female

MeasureTime frame
Diltiazem would be more effective than Esmolol in attenuating blood pressure changes and Esmolol would be more effective than Diltiazem in attenuating heart rate changesTimepoint: At the time of giving study drug. Then every 2 minutes till the patient gets extubated. Post extubation, Every 3 minutes for the next 15 minutes.

To observe for incidence of adverse effects (bradycardia, arrythmia, hypotension)Timepoint: At the time of giving study drug. Then every 2 minutes till the patient gets extubated. Post extubation, every 3 minutes for the next 15 minutes.
