Interventions

Intervention1: Physiotherapy Protocol: Diaphragmatic breathing, Box breathing, alternate nostril yoga breathing will be given 5 mins/day for 6 weeks. Progressive muscle relaxation will be given twice

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Cricket players with moderate anxiety level as per SAS-2. 2 Actively competing in district, state or national-level cricket tournaments. 3 Willing to participate in six weeks of physiotherapy intervention and follow- up assessments. 4 No history of severe psychiatric disorders or neurological condition. 5 No history of major injury in last six months that could affect performance.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Athletes diagnosed with clinical anxiety disorders requiring pharmacological treatment. Athletes on sleep medications or sedatives. 2 Athletes with a history of chronic insomnia or sleep apnoea. 3 Athletes with current musculoskeletal injuries affecting training and performance.
