Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients of both genders of age 18 to 90 yrs undergoing elective CABG (on CPB) with moderate and severe LV dysfunction (EF less than or equal to 40%) will be enrolled in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patient refusal 2)Patients with EF more than 40% 3)Patients requiring IABP 4)Patients with cardiac dysrhythmias 5)Patients with contraindication to pulmonary artery catheter insertion.
