Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects in the age group 15-30 years of either gender indicated for maxillary expansion. 2. Subjects with healthy periodontal tissues. 3. Subjects with no prior history of orthodontic treatment / orthognathic surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pharyngeal pathologies 2. Nasal obstruction, snoring 3. Obstructive sleep apnoea 4. Adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy 5. Patient allergic to Local anesthetic
