Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Cases suffering from Lumbar Spondylosis satisfying the Medical History and physical examination for tenderness and stiffness in lower back and X-ray of the lumbar spine. 2.Ability and willingness to give consent and comply with study. 3.Patients of age group 18-65 years. 4.Patients of all gender and religion will be considered. 5.Person not taking any other medicines either homoeopathic or other form for last 3 months for the same suffering.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Co-morbid conditions like spinal injuries, inflammatory rheumatic diseases, uncontrolled endocrine disorders and other uncontrolled or life- threatening illness affecting quality of life or any organ failure. 2.Diagnosed psychological, personality and neurological disorders such as dementia, Alzheimer s disease, Parkinsonism. 3.Self-reported immune-compromised state. 4.Undergoing homoeopathic treatment for any chronic disease within last 2 weeks. 5.Chronic alcoholism and any substance abuse.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement of pain in terms of Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).Timepoint: Each patient will get follow-up for at least 3 months at the interval of 1 month.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of Quality of Life by Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire (ODI).Timepoint: Each patient will get follow-up for at least 3 months at the interval of 1 month.
